As an artist myself, It's really hard to find people that would completely understand your vision and ideas and making it real. Even just by explaining the ideas that u have in mind, some people wouldn't be able to pick that up immediately. But in her case, Ari is too fortunate to have these brilliant people working with her. I'm really glad you shared this. I definitely appreciate Ariana's music and her skill (won't say talent because talent is having a nice voice, not the raw mastery she displayed here) while the music I get into is very different. But I bet it's eye-opening for a lot of people who hear those lush, layered vocal arrangements and probably assume she sings once and either a computer or team of producers spits out what they hear, because it's so perfect and exacting. And I didn't see her being produced at all,if anyone sees this and sees anything other than her in complete charge and completely driving the vision and execution of the vocal production, lay off the drugs for a night. Haha I'm sorry, but no matter what kind of music you appreciate, you should be able to easily grasp how much respect this gal deserves. My favorite bands are Depeche Mode and the Beatles, I've only ever put one Ariana song on a playlist once (just cuz I'm a kind of lame pretty old guy) but as someone who cares a lot about music, period, if this wasn't inspiring to you and mind-blowing, you don't really know what you just saw. I don't care if polka or industrial is your jam, this is just impressive on a human level. Thanks for sharing a behind the scenes thing like this because it's not common to see anyone share their process like this, especially a real artist, which any sane person can easily see Ariana is and then some. Very generous thing to share.
